About Us
At Blackbird Indoor Golf, our mission is to give back to the game of golf and our local community by inspiring and instilling a love for the game in everyone that walks through our doors. John grew up in Brockton, Massachusetts and as a kid found a job in the backroom of a local golf shop which inspired a life-long love of the game and the community that it can create. John and Liz, now with children of their own, envisioned a community-oriented space where they could share the passion for golf and athletics with people from all walks of life and skill levels.
John earned a scholarship and played golf as an NCAA Division 1 scholar/athlete and has found that his true passion lies in coaching youth sports of all types. He firmly believes that in this era of i-pads and video games, athletics are a great way to teach leadership, compassion, dedication, hard work and patience to a younger generation (qualities we all know are essential in this game!).
Liz is new to the game of golf and shares John’s vision of creating a welcoming, year-round, dynamic social environment for both serious and casual golfers. Guests will enjoy a relaxed and welcoming environment including dedicated play on state-of-the-art equipment and a variety of beverages and snacks to savor while watching their favorite sporting events.
